4. Grasmere - One of my personal favorite spots in the Lake District, Grasmere is simply gorgeous with its green fields, clear waters, and picturesque mountainsides. Be sure to try out a delicious gingerbread while you're here too!

5. Keswick - Last but not least, Keswick makes for an excellent base when exploring the Lake District as it has everything you need within close proximity including shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, and more.
